Job summary

The Behaviour Specialist role is a full-time, permanent position based primarily in Stamullen, Co. Meath, with travel to community houses across North Dublin and surrounding counties as required.

You will conduct functional behavioural assessments and develop person-centred Positive Behaviour Support plans, providing specialist intervention and coaching to staff within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Primary degree in an allied healthcare profession.
• Postgraduate qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Positive Behaviour Support or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year’s experience working with adults with disabilities, including Intellectual Disability, ASD and/or Mental Health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavioural assessments
• Develop and review Positive Behaviour Support plans
• Provide specialist behavioural advice and intervention
• Coach and mentor staff in positive behavioural approaches
• Deliver staff and professional training
• Work collaboratively within a Multi-Disciplinary Team
• Monitor behavioural data and evaluate interventions
• Maintain high-quality clinical records and reports
