Job summary

Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny is seeking an experienced bartender to join our busy bars and hospitality team. You will prepare a range of beverages, deliver excellent guest service, and thrive in a luxury 5-star environment.

The role requires previous bar experience in a high-volume setting, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, fluent English, and the ability to upsell and recommend drinks. Training and promotional opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a busy bar environment is required.
• Previous experience in a high volume and fast paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland
• Must be over 18 years of age
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• To prepare and serve a range of beverages and cocktails, while providing excellent service to guests.
• Ensure a good knowledge of beverages, wine and cocktails and be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• To work in any of the hotel's three bar outlets as required.

Lyrath Estate Hotel, a luxurious 5-star hotel nestled on the outskirts of Kilkenny City is currently seeking an experienced bartender to join our team.

To be eligible for this role you must have experience working in a busy bar preferably in a Hospitality Setting,

Any applicants without previous bar experience will not be considered for this role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To prepare and serve a range of different beverages & cocktails, while providing excellent service to our guests.
• Ensure a good knowledge of beverages, wine and cocktails & be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• To work in any of the hotels three bar outlets as required
