Job summary

The Hyatt Centric, in partnership with Hodson Bay Group, invites applications for a Bartender in Dublin. You will greet guests, recommend drinks and maintain high service standards in a busy hotel bar environment.

Mixology/cocktail experience is essential; previous roles in cocktail bars or 4/5-star hotels are a distinct advantage. Benefits include meals on duty, uniform care, Hyatt discounts, and ongoing development opportunities.

• Maintain a clean, organized bar and stock as needed.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures and balance cash/record sales.

About the Role

Role responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverage selections.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and courteously.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all drinks served.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.
• Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Promote special drinks and upsell premium brands and add-ons.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt’s policies and procedures.
• Assist in training new bartenders and bar staff.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
• Assisting with food service when necessary.

Requirements
