Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd. in Dublin is looking for a talented Barista to join our team on a full-time, permanent contract. The role involves preparing high-quality coffee for staff and visitors within a subsidised café operation connected to a prestigious school contract.

You will work 40 hours per week, handling payments, stock rotation, and daily set-up. We welcome team players with good verbal English and prior customer or food prep experience.

Job description

Contract: Full Time , Permanent
Salary: € 14.15 per hour
Hours: 40 per week

One of the largest private secondary schools in Ireland, teaching 4th, 5th and 6th year pupils full time with Year 1 - 6 on weekly grinds. We offer a Subsidised High Street Café style operation that is external to the school grounds. The school hosts about 1500 students of which we would expect around the 300 per day take up of the retail offering.

We are looking for a talented Barista to join our team at one of our prestigious contracts in Dublin.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team producing the best barista coffee for staff and visitors
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Ensure that all retail items are stocked and rotated regularly
• Set up of location in the mornings for daily operation
• Manage payments and any cash handling.
• Daily stock takes of products available

You will have the following skills:

• An all-round team player
• Personable, good sense of humour, fun.

Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
