Talbot Hotel Wexford is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join the bar team as Bar Personnel on a part-time basis. Report to the Bar Manager and enjoy training as you provide friendly service to guests in a 4 Star standard environment.

The role emphasizes weekend work and a welcoming atmosphere, with development opportunities within the Talbot Collection. Fluency in English is essential and prior experience is not required.

Responsibilities

To provide friendly and efficient service within the bar.
Dispense orders accurately and with courtesy to company standards.

Keep bar area clean and ensure stock accuracy.
Serve drinks and food as required and know daily menu items.
Ensure responsible alcohol service and welcoming atmosphere.
Adhere to licensing laws and safeguard company assets.
Stock shelves and glassware; clear bottles and tables as needed.

Talbot Hotel Wexford, part of the Talbot Collection, are currently recruiting for Bar Personnel to join our team. This is a part-time position. The Bar Personnel will report to the Bar Manager.

Overall Job Purpose:

To provide a friendly and efficient service within the bar, dispensing orders accurately and with courtesy to the standards required by the company.

Main Duties:

To arrive for work on time and in proper uniform;
To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming;
To ensure that the bar area is kept clean at all times;
To ensure the accuracy of all floats by checking them and reporting irregularities;
Responsible for the efficient dispensing and serving of drinks and food when required;
To be aware of menu items of the day and drink services;
To serve alcohol responsibly;
To ensure a welcoming atmosphere is maintained in the bar at all times;
To carry out our customer relations policy ensuring that we maintain 4 Star standards at all times;
To ensure that necessary steps are taken to safeguard Company money, goods and assets;
To be familiar with licensing laws and excise requirements;
To ensure all drinks are issued using appropriate measures, procedures, and correct glassware;
Responsible for the stocking of shelves to appropriate levels, observing proper stock rotation, and the stocking of glassware;
To assist in the clearing of bottles, glasses, tables and washing same.
