Job summary

Big Mamma Group in Dublin is seeking a Bar Manager for Gloria Osteria to lead a dynamic 8-person team, ensuring top cocktail quality and adherence to recipes in a vibrant Italian dining setting.

You will manage scheduling, monitor costs, participate in new recipe development with the Beverage Group Manager, and train staff daily. International mobility and ongoing career opportunities accompany a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar bar/restaurant role.
• Ability to manage a team of 8 people and plan shifts.
• Strong leadership and staff training capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of cocktails and mixology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8 in a busy Dublin bar environment.
• Manage team planning and monthly People Cost.
• Ensure cocktail quality and adherence to recipes; monitor guest feedback.
• Collaborate with Beverage Group Manager on new recipes.
• Oversee beverage cost and inventory management.
• Place orders and ensure correct execution of orders.
• Train and support the team on a daily basis.

For Gloria Osteria, our restaurant in Dublin (41 Westmoreland St, Dublin), we are looking for out next rising star. As Bar Manager, you embody our values of excellence, meritocracy, entrepreneurship and authenticity on a daily basis in the restaurant. You report to the General Manager and your key areas of responsibility include:

Your Missions

• Management of a team of 8 people.
• Management of team plannings / Guarantor of the monthly People Cost.
• Responsible for the quality of cocktails, monitoring of customer comments, guarantor of compliance with recipe sheets.
• Participation in the creation of new recipes in collaboration with the Beverage Group Manager.
• Responsible for the Food Cost on the beverage part.
• Carrying out inventories.
• Management of order placement and their proper execution.
• Training and supporting the team on a daily basis.
