Crowne Plaza Dublin Blanchardstown is seeking a part-time Food and Beverage Assistant to join our Bar Team. The role leads in a fast-paced hotel setting, with afternoons, evenings, and late shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

You will work across the Fidelio-logged guest experiences, VIPs and groups, and contribute to guest satisfaction. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits within a branded hotel environment, with opportunities for training and development and a supportive

Qualifications

Experience in Food and Beverage service in a hotel or similar environment.
Able to handle VIPs, regulars, and group attendees with professionalism.
Strong customer service and cash handling awareness.

Responsibilities

Carry out duties in Food & Beverage and Bar/Conference teams to the hotel standards.
Handle guest queries promptly and meet guest requests, including special requirements.
Maximise revenue through upselling and accurate sales recording.
Create and update guest profiles in Fidelio system for groups and individuals.

*Please note, this role will involve afternoon, evening and late shifts and have availability to work weekdays and weekends!

The ideal candidate would have experience in the below.

To carry out all the duties in the Food and Beverage and Conference & Banqueting Departments as required to the standards as laid down in the standard of performance manuals
To ensure all guests queries are handled promptly and efficiently
To ensure all guest requests are met i.e. VIP's, Regulars, and Group Attendees & Special Requirements
To maximize in revenue, through up selling and additional sales, efficient recording of sales
To create a guest profile for all groups and/or individuals and update through the Fidelio system
To follow up promptly on any guest request and ensure guest satisfaction is achieved
To process all charges for groups and individuals efficiently
To maximize seating capacity without compromising standards
To ensure compliance to the Responsible Serving Of Alcohol policy
To be aware of relevant competitor information and market changes to suggest and support changes to our services / rates as appropriate
To constantly liaise with other departments to ensure all guest requests are attended to efficiently
To be fully aware of any menu updates, hotel promotions, corporate promotions or special activities going on in the hotel/area
To organise and assist with carrying out any reasonable guest and staff promotional events when required
To ensure we have a good working relationship with the support companies or groups
To be knowledgeable and informed about the introduction of products and make sure this is done in accordance to standards i.e. Wine list and Presentation Products & Props
To ensure that all standards are met at all times
To ensure your work area is at all times kept clean and tidy
To adhere to the cash, food and beverage and credit control policy
