Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Consulting team to drive project delivery and transformation across finance, operations, strategy and digital initiatives. The role emphasizes core PM responsibilities in banking and financial services, including customer journey redesign and channel optimization.

Qualifications

• A third level degree with a strong academic record.
• Project Management certification, with a demonstrated ability to apply best practices, tools and methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, or tailored approaches) to deliver measurable project outcomes.
• Minimum experience: Assistant Manager 4-6 years, Manager 6-8 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex projects for key clients across various industries, ensuring high-quality outputs and meeting tight deadlines.
• Define and drive projects across all stages of the project life cycle.
• Lead or support the delivery of transformation initiatives, including digital transformation, with new technologies and platforms to improve efficiency and engagement.
• Design and deliver customer experience transformation initiatives, including end-to-end journey redesign and process improvements.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation (status updates, governance updates, RAID logs, etc.).
• Develop comprehensive project plans, define roles and communications strategies.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams across business units.
• Map end-to-end customer journeys for retail banking products (loans, mortgages, cards).
• Support Senior Management in overseeing project delivery.
• Leverage customer and operational data to inform decisions and measure impact.
