Job summary

Applegreen Distribution Centre in Leixlip is hiring a Bakery Assistant to join a small, friendly in-house bakery team. You will bake and finish pre-prepared bakery products for distribution, reporting to the Bakery Manager and Supervisor.

Fixed Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–8:00pm shifts with no weekend work, in a close-knit environment. Ideally you have prior bakery or deli experience and take pride in producing quality goods.

• Previous experience in bakery or deli environment required.
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work well as part of a small team.
• Attention to detail and pride in producing quality products.

Bakery Assistant – Full Time (Leixlip Distribution Centre)

Location: Applegreen Distribution Centre, Leixlip

Applegreen Distribution Centre in Leixlip has been operating since 2009, supplying our network nationwide. In 2024, we proudly launched our in-house bakery, which has already seen incredible success and over 600% growth in its first year.

We’re currently looking for a Bakery Assistant to join our busy team at the Applegreen Distribution Centre in Leixlip. You’ll be working with a small, friendly team of six, helping to bake and prepare pre-made bakery products for distribution.

About the role:

• Working alongside a team of 6 in our in-house bakery
• Baking and finishing pre-prepared products
• Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager and Supervisor
• Fixed weekday hours, Monday to Friday (2pm–8pm) – no weekends required!

About you:

• Previous experience in a bakery or deli environment is required
