Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer (Software Engineer 3) to join the Atlas Growth Platforms team. You will primarily build backend services for experimentation, analytics, and partner integrations, with some frontend work to support A/B testing and feature flags.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software engineering experience, backend focus in Java or C#.
Experience with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices APIs.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering feature flagging, experimentation, and analytics infrastructure for MongoDB Atlas.
Develop APIs, data models, and pipelines supporting experimentation, personalization, and partner integrations.
Enable internal teams to run experiments and analyze impact across platforms.
Improve observability, reliability, and performance in systems related to experimentation and service configuration.
