Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Cluster to Cluster (C2C) Services team, building data movement, migration, replication, and disaster recovery capabilities across cloud and on‑prem environments. This role can be based in our Dublin office or remotely in Ireland.

You will contribute to Atlas Migration Services, mongosync, and related tooling, collaborating with product and design, and mentoring teammates while tackling distributed systems challenges and improving operability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Backend systems focus with distributed architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build Atlas Migration Services and tooling, including data movement and disaster recovery features.
• Work with customers of MongoDB Atlas and on-prem customers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineers to build customer-valued features.
• Uphold engineering best practices and drive quality, customer focus, and learning.
• Mentor and contribute to the growth of team members.
• Solve difficult problems in a distributed environment.
