Archer (Ireland) is seeking a Software Architect to join the technology organisation of a major international insurance business with operations in Dublin and London. This key role sits in an established architecture function, shaping engineering practices, architecture, code patterns and ways of working across the organisation.

• Proven experience as a Software Architect, Technical Lead or senior engineering leader.
• Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent knowledge of Azure Functions, orchestration and microservice architecture.
• Experience modernising legacy technology environments.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.

• Shapes software architecture, engineering practices, code patterns and ways of working.
• Lead the evolution from legacy platforms towards modern Azure-based architecture.
• Design scalable microservice and cloud-native solutions.
