Archer in Dublin and London seeks a Software Architect–Tech Lead to guide a major insurance business through a cloud-native transformation. You will shape engineering practices and architecture across Azure-first environments, driving modern microservices and AI-enabled development across teams.

Beyond technical leadership, you will influence engineering standards, collaborate with Heads of Software, QA and Enterprise Architecture, and help deliver scalable, distributed systems in a fast-paced

Competenze

Proven experience as Software Architect, Technical Lead, or senior engineering leader.
Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Azure.
Excellent knowledge of Azure Functions, orchestration and microservice architecture.
Experience modernising legacy technology environments.
Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.

Mansioni

Shape software architecture, engineering practices, code patterns and ways of working.
Lead the evolution from legacy platforms to modern Azure-based architecture.
Design scalable microservice and cloud-native solutions.
Work extensively with Azure Functions, orchestration and distributed systems.
