Job summary

Bank of America in Dublin is seeking two Azure Network Engineers for a hybrid role (3 days onsite per week) on a 12-month contract. You will design and implement enterprise-scale Azure networking, build IaC with Terraform, and develop automation using Python and scripting as part of the Cloud & Data Centre Services team.

You will work on Azure VNets, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall and hybrid connectivity, delivering secure, scalable solutions while adhering to governance and security requirements

Qualifications

Azure Network Engineer

The Role

Bank of America is looking for two experienced Azure Network Engineers to join the Cloud & Data Centre Services team in Dublin.

This is a hands-on cloud engineering role, focused on building and automating enterprise-scale Azure networking solutions. You will work with Terraform, Python and scripting to develop Infrastructure as Code, automation and cloud network capabilities as part of the Bank's wider cloud strategy.

This is not an application support or BAU support role. We are looking for engineers who enjoy building, coding, automating and solving complex cloud engineering challenges.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Extensive experience with Azure networking.
• Strong hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Good Python and/or scripting experience.
• Experience with cloud automation and CI/CD.
• Experience designing and engineering enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and governance.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX environments.
• Experience with containers such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift is advantageous.
