Job summary

Bank of America in Dublin is seeking two Azure Network Engineers for a hybrid role (3 days onsite per week) on a 12-month contract. You will design and implement enterprise-scale Azure networking, build IaC with Terraform, and develop automation using Python and scripting as part of the Cloud & Data Centre Services team.

You will work on Azure VNets, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall and hybrid connectivity, delivering secure, scalable solutions while adhering to governance and security requirements

Qualifications

• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Extensive Azure networking experience.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Python scripting experience.
• CI/CD and cloud automation experience.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Cloud security and governance knowledge.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX environments.
• Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer secure, scalable Azure networking solutions.
• Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Develop automation and tooling using Python and scripting.
• Work with Azure VNets, ExpressRoute,Azure Firewall and hybrid connectivity.
• Create reusable Terraform modules and automated infrastructure solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated cloud deployments.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on cloud solution design.
• Participate in architecture and technical design reviews.
• Apply security, resilience and performance principles to all solutions.
• Help develop and improve enterprise cloud engineering standards and capabilities.
