Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on behalf of a global client in Dublin for a 6- to 18-month contract. The role involves delivering cloud enablement solutions, infrastructure as code with Terraform, and ensuring secure, scalable architectures.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team and participate in requirements, architecture reviews, and design discussions to align with the cloud strategy.

Qualifications

• 10 years of commercial experience with at least 5 years in cloud environments.
• Experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Familiarity with Terraform Enterprise, Private Module Registry and Terraform Sentinel.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions as part of the cloud enablement strategy.
• Ensure code adheres to accessibility, security, OO practices and performance; write unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with developers, QA and project management; participate in requirements, architecture reviews and design meetings.

Job description

Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Contract Dublin 6-18 Months.

My client a global leader in their space is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their group on a contract basis for 6 months extending up to 18-24 months.

You will work across technology to create the solution to align with my client cloud strategy. You will perform product design activities as required. You will design and implement new software solutions as part of their cloud enablement strategy, as well as maintain and enhance existing software.

• You will also ensure that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented practices, and performance, Write and conduct unit and integration tests
• Effectively function and communicate within a software development team consisting of developers, quality assurance, and project management members. You will be expected to actively participate in requirements, architecture reviews, and design meetings.

Successful candidates will have 10 years of commercial experience with minimum of 5 years in Cloud. You will have experience with writing infrastructure as code using Terraform. You will have experience building and working with public cloud infrastructure. You will have Terraform Enterprise, Private Module Registry, Terraform Sentinel etc.

• Deep knowledge of web protocols, multiple operating systems, hypervisors and distributed systems architecture
• AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms and services.Deep knowledge of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework(CAF) or similar frameworks. Cloud Security (e.g. Azure Policy, Azure Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel).Experience with cloud security
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Maven/Jenkins and Experience with general programming languages Java/python, etc.
