Mandatory requirements:
- Experience: 4-6 years professional experience as an Azure DevOps and Cloud Engineer.
- Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, cloud security, Azure governance, application deployment, production release management, Azure landing zones, Microsoft Entra ID, security remediation, penetration-test remediation, application/web security, cloud automation, technical documentation, knowledge transfer.
- Desirable Skills: Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, Bash, Python, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Git, automated testing, containerised workloads, web application security, search-engine indexing controls, regulated environments, public-sector environments and NIS2/security compliance environments.
- Education: Degree in Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
- Certifications: Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Level C2 Mastery or Proficiency certificate required for non-native English speakers. No mandatory technical certifications defined.
- Key Professional Domain: Azure DevOps and Cloud Engineering, cloud security remediation, application deployment, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure landing zones, CI/CD, production release management, knowledge transfer and technical delivery.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent English speaker / CEFR Level C2 certificate.
TRD/Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft Azure cloud and Azure DevOps projects, including Azure DevOps Services, repositories, pipelines, release management, deployment processes, secure application delivery and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience identifying, remediating, validating and closing cloud and application security vulnerabilities, including penetration-test findings, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure security controls, secure production deployments, cloud security governance and security remediation activities.
- Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation and cloud engineering solutions using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, scripting, automated provisioning, configuration management and repeatable Azure deployments.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across Azure environments, application infrastructure, builds and deployments, with experience in monitoring, logging, operational resilience and maintaining production service availability.
- Proven experience producing technical architecture and configuration documentation, deployment and rollback runbooks, delivering knowledge transfer, and working effectively across Infrastructure, Applications, Cyber Security, managed service providers and wider Information and Communications Technology (ICT) teams.
