Job summary

PwC Ireland is seeking an AI Manager - Azure AI Architect to design and deliver cloud-native data and AI solutions. You will manage Azure environments, drive security and scalability, and collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into robust cloud strategies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with Azure AI services, data platforms, automation tools, and IaC; strong scripting skills and CI/CD expertise are essential for scalable, secure deployments.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications in Azure are highly desirable.
• 5+ years designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure AI services, data platforms, and automation tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong security, compliance, and operational best practices for cloud and AI workloads.
• Excellent communication to explain complex decisions to stakeholders.
• Experience in agile, cross-functional teams delivering projects at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native data and AI solutions using Azure services.
• Manage and optimize Azure environments for performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust cloud solutions.
• Integrate AI and data solutions with Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third-party systems.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of cloud workloads using IaC and DevOps practices.
• Promote operational excellence, security, and compliance in cloud engineering processes.
• Communicate effectively with IT personnel, executives, and user communities.
• Develop skills and empower team through PwC network support.
