Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking a senior Azure Tech Lead to design, implement and operate secure cloud platforms, bridging cloud engineering and data platform teams to enable reliable analytics and AI services.

You will own Azure platform design, automation, governance and operational health, while coaching engineers and coordinating with security and client stakeholders to align cloud capabilities with business needs.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on Azure engineering across networking, compute, storage, identity and governance.
Experience with infrastructure as code and automated deployment pipelines.
Knowledge of Azure data services and analytical platforms non-functional needs.

Responsibilities

Own the technical design and operational health of Azure platform services.
Provision repeatable environments via IaC and automated pipelines.
Engineer platform foundations for Data Lake, Databricks and Azure data services.
Apply private connectivity, secrets management, encryption, backup and DR patterns.
Monitor reliability, performance, capacity and cost; drive RCA.
Lead cloud platform workstreams and ensure successful transition to operations.
Define and enforce cloud engineering standards and cost-optimisation practices.
Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineers and stakeholders.
