Job summary

Accenture plc in Ireland seeks an experienced Azure Tech Lead to design, build and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms for data, analytics and AI workloads. You’ll lead enterprise Azure infrastructure initiatives and own complex cloud engineering delivery.

You’ll bridge cloud engineering, architecture, security and data teams, define technical direction, implement IaC with Terraform or Bicep, and oversee automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on enterprise Azure infrastructure and cloud engineering experience across networking, compute, storage, identity and governance.
• Proven track record leading Azure initiatives or workstreams in large, complex organisations.
• Strong IaC and automation with Terraform or Bicep, plus Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and operational health of Azure platform services.
• Design and provision repeatable Azure environments using IaC and automated deployment pipelines.
• Engineer cloud foundations for Azure Data Lake Storage, Fabric, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL.
• Enforce security and resilience patterns across connectivity, identities, secrets, encryption, backup and DR.
• Monitor reliability, performance, capacity and cloud cost; lead troubleshooting and RCA.
• Lead cloud-platform workstreams end to end and ensure production readiness.
