Job summary

Atlantic Aviation Group (AAG) Shannon seeks a strategic Head of Supply Chain to lead Materials, Procurement, Stores and Logistics, ensuring on-time maintenance delivery and cost-effective inventory management. You will set the strategy, coach cross‑functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and build supplier partnerships, while ensuring regulatory compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, materials, or procurement leadership roles, ideally in aviation/MRO.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across materials, procurement, stores, and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of EASA/CAA/FAA requirements relating to materials, storage, documentation, traceability, and certification.
• Hands-on experience in ERP systems, digital procurement tools, and data-driven operational management.
• Significant experience with commercial negotiation, contracts, RFPs, supplier management, and freight/logistics agreements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Materials, Procurement, and Logistics strategy aligned with operational priorities.
• Lead, develop and coach Materials, Stores, and Logistics teams; serve as escalation point for challenges.
• Build customer understanding and embed customer-centric decision-making.
• Foster continuous improvement, innovation and R&D; benchmark against best practices.
• Oversee key contracts including freight, materials, consignment, and vendor agreements.
• Manage inventory accuracy, min/max replenishment and cycle counts.
• Drive ERP optimisation and digital procurement tool adoption; maintain dashboards.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
