Job summary

AECOM in Dublin is recruiting a Senior Project Manager: Aviation to lead major building, terminal, and airfield projects. The role is primarily site-based with four days on site and one day remote.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects from inception through close-out, guiding governance, cost control, schedule, and risk in a live airport environment. Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' experience in construction/infrastructure, including aviation projects.
• Experience working in live airport environments with safety and stakeholder management requirements.
• Hands-on on-site delivery with construction and infrastructure execution.
• Experience developing construction project management frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Proven track record delivering major construction/asset delivery on schedule and within budget.
• Experience in a client-side project management role representing the contracting entity.
• Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and drive governance improvements.
• Experience using NEC Suite of contracts as client/contractor/subcontractor.
• Aviation setting or similarly constrained environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of the project ensuring interfaces are addressed at all stages.
• Maintain the RACI/task tracker and liaise with design teams and external providers.
• Organise design review meetings and communicate approvals to the Contractor.
• Report monthly on project tasks including construction activities.
• Maintain the project risk register and update at progress meetings.
• Identify opportunities to improve project management procedures and templates.
• Monitor and apply performance management techniques.
• Manage the change control process and flow of information to client.
