Job summary

Solventum is seeking an Automation Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to lead the maintenance and reliability function for automated production systems, robotics, vision systems, and control assets in our automation area. You will drive equipment performance, safety, and continuous improvement through hands-on leadership.

The role requires developing high-performing teams, partnering with stakeholders, and delivering sustainable reliability improvements to maximize uptime and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance team in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of automation, robotics, and vision systems.
• Proven ability to drive reliability and continuous improvement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 4 cycle shift maintenance team.
• Drive safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage performance, training plans, and succession planning.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain.
• Provide technical leadership for automation, controls, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Oversee root cause analyses and RCA/RCM initiatives.
• Coordinate major shutdowns, equipment installs, and projects.
• Maintain spare parts strategies and asset health programs.
