Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Athlone, Ireland to oversee frontline maintenance for high-speed automated assembly lines. You will drive uptime, output, and yield KPIs, repair electromechanical equipment, and lead preventative maintenance programs while ensuring GMP and GDP compliance.

You will also guide engineers and technicians on corrective actions, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement projects to boost OEE.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years in a similar technical role within medical device or similar.
• Mechanical experience in automated manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work different shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line support and lead technician team to ensure line stability.
• Collaborate with zone technicians and assist with complex issues.
• Lead corrective actions and coordinate new PM system (PEMAC).
• Analyze downtime and implement corrective/preventive measures.
• Provide training and cross-training for technicians.
