Job summary

ICE Jobs, based in Ireland, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support automated production in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will focus on process improvement, planned maintenance, repair response, and calibration of equipment.

The role requires a Diploma in Industrial Automation or related field, at least two years in high-volume manufacturing, and hands-on knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, actuators, and AC motors. Shift work is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Industrial Automation or engineering equivalent.
• At least 2 years of high volume manufacturing experience.
• Experience with special purpose equipment and pick-and-place systems.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, pneumatic systems, actuators and AC motors.
• Willingness to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Improve process design to optimize production.
• Drive yield improvement through planned maintenance and quick repairs.
• Input on equipment installation and total preventive maintenance.
• Calibrate equipment.
• Use PLCs to diagnose faults and resolve issues.
• Maintain safety standards on site.
