Job summary

Cpl is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a busy manufacturing site in Ireland. You will support preventive and predictive maintenance, carry out routine repairs, and work to maximise asset uptime across the site.

Key duties include diagnosing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults, collaborating with Operations and Engineering teams, and maintaining accurate CMMS records to support continuous improvement and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

Strong electrical and electronic repair and diagnostic skills.
Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic fault finding and repair.
Knowledge of robotics and automated manufacturing systems.
Experience maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of PLCs, drives and HMIs.
Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance support to designated manufacturing areas and ensure maximum equipment uptime.
Carry out preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, minimising downtime.
Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
Support Facilities and liaise with external contractors when required.
Contribute to reliability-centred maintenance programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support MTTR and MTBF performance, and lean manufacturing principles.
Maintain and improve CMMS records and reports.
