Job summary

PlayStation Ireland is seeking a Solutions Engineer to build and improve employee technology automations and integrations. You will work with senior engineers, platform owners, and support teams to deliver defined components and improve them from production feedback.

You will develop scripts, API integrations, workflows, and platform configurations for employee tech use cases, implement dependable remediation steps with logging and error handling, and document configurations and recovery steps.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience using APIs and integration patterns.
• Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript and ability to write maintainable code.
• Familiarity with source control, testing, and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Experience with automation, telemetry, or employee collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and improve employee technology automations and integrations.
• Develop scripts, API integrations, workflows, and platform configurations.
• Implement detection, remediation steps, and reliable error handling.
• Write and run tests; document configuration, operation, and recovery steps.
