Job summary

embecta is a global medical device company focused on insulin delivery and diabetes care. We seek a hands-on maintenance technician to ensure reliability of highly automated manufacturing equipment and to support continuous improvement across the site.

You will execute planned preventative maintenance, optimize maintenance plans in SAP CMMS, and collaborate with production, engineering, and vendors to minimise downtime and sustain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment (Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Food or other regulated industries).
• Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical systems knowledge with exposure to electrical, pneumatic, and automation controls.
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a structured RCA approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned preventative maintenance across automated assembly and manufacturing equipment.
• Support equipment reliability by identifying issues before they impact production.
• Maintain and optimise preventative maintenance plans, task lists, and work orders in SAP CMMS.
• Evaluate maintenance activities and implement improvements to maximise uptime and reliability.
• Coordinate maintenance planning, scheduling, issuing, and closing work orders.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and maintenance to minimise disruption to operations.
• Assist with equipment validation, qualification, or commissioning activities.
