Job summary

ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc in Dublin is seeking an engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering professional solutions. You will work through all project phases—from design and systems engineering to installation, start-up and validation—and focus on completing work packages.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and hands-on PLC, HMI, SCADA and DCS skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Technical skills: PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (GMP) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities
  • Operate within a multidisciplinary team that integrates technology and business expertise to develop and deliver professional solutions.
  • Work in all phases of a project from design, systems engineering, specifications, development, installation, start‑up to validation.
  • Focus on the implementation and realization of work packages.
  • Support the preparation of calculations and offers.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer and lessons‑learned activities.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Technical skills: PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS.
  • Structured, conscientious, and results‑oriented working style.
  • Customer orientation and service affinity.
  • Ability to work in a team with strong communication skills and confident demeanor.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Experience in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Pharma / Medical Device experience (GMP) is an advantage but not essential.
  • Based in Dublin (Ballycoolin – close to NAC).
  • Willingness to travel within the scope of projects.
