Job summary

Fin is seeking a Systems Engineer in IT to evolve our IT infrastructure with a focus on deliverability, identity & access management and compliance. The role involves building scalable automations, cloud-based solutions, and cross-functional projects to improve security and efficiency.

You'll work in a fast-moving startup environment with a strong emphasis on infrastructure-as-code, automation enablement, and AI adoption to reduce toil and drive sustainable business value.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer with data-driven problem solving.
• Good knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Perl).
• Experience building and operating cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf Pro, Intune).

Responsibilities

• Identify and solve automation and integration problems across teams and systems.
• Design, build, and own automations and integrations addressing identity & access management, endpoint management, security, and compliance.
• Lead cross-organisational projects to evolve IT infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code.
• Govern and promote automation and AI adoption to eliminate friction and toil.
• Participate in beta testing for new features/tools to optimize the organisation.
• Drive IT incident response alongside InfoSec and engineering teams.
• Lead initiatives to align with Fin's values and raise performance standards.
• Integrate and utilize AI tooling and maintain no-code automation with Tines and Workato.
