Job summary

Connolly Motor Group is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team across sites in Ballina, Sligo, and Letterkenny. You will own the helpdesk, automate repetitive tasks, and maintain our Cisco Meraki network and Office 365 stack.

You’ll support onboarding, endpoint security, and dealer systems while providing proactive IT support across multiple sites. The ideal candidate enjoys tinkering with tech, writes scripts to simplify work, and holds a relevant IT qualification or hands-on

Qualifications

• Strong IT systems administration experience.
• PowerShell scripting to automate repetitive tasks.
• Windows Server and Active Directory administration expertise.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki and network gear.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 stack and security tooling.
• Good communication and self-motivation to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Own the helpdesk queue and resolve tickets quickly
• Automate routine tasks with scripting and scheduling
• Maintain network health across multiple sites
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint
• Onboard/offboard staff and manage endpoint security
• Support dealer systems and remote IT tooling
• Travel between sites and keep IT operations consistent
