A mid-sized accountancy firm in Kildare is seeking an Audit Senior to manage a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, you will lead audit assignments, provide guidance to junior staff, and ensure high-quality delivery of audits. The ideal candidate will be ACCA, ACA, or CPA qualified with at least 2 years' experience. This position offers a salary of €50,000 – €60,000 DOE and a hybrid working model, alongside generous benefits including 25 days of annual leave and a performance-based bonus.

Our client, a medium sized accountancy practice based in Kildare is looking for an Audit Senior to join their growing team. The successful Audit Senior will manage a diverse portfolio of clients and develop strong working relationships internally with peers and externally with new and existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of leading audit assignments across different sectors.
• Effectively plan audit assignments and brief team members on specific risks associated with each assignment.
• The Audit Senior will provide guidance and feedback to junior staff and trainees
• Deliver audit assignments to a high standard.
• Adhere to the firm’s policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

• The Audit Senior will be ACCA, ACA or CPA qualified
• Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical, logical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and common accounting software
