Job description

Our client is looking for an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their medium-sized accounting firm in Dublin. The ideal candidate will be meticulous and analytical, with deep knowledge of auditing and accounts practices. You will work as part of a team and help to mentor less experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present reports for clients and partners upon request.
• Prepare and finalise audit and audit-exempt financial statements.
• Address various inquiries from clients, banks, Revenue, and assist with Revenue audits.
• Mentor Trainees
• Effectively plan assignments and brief team members on specific risks associated with each assignment.

Requirements

• CPA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting practice
• Strong understanding of Accounting and Auditing Standards.
• Experience in operational supervision of assignments and managing client relationships.
• Some tax experience is preferred.
