Job summary

Pro Recruitment Ireland is seeking an Audit Manager for a well-established accountancy practice in the Meath/Cavan region. You will take ownership of a client portfolio, oversee audits end to end, and work closely with partners to ensure high-quality delivery.

The role offers hybrid working after an initial settling-in period and a clear path to progression within the practice. You will be ACA/ACCA qualified with post-qualification audit experience in practice, and you should be comfortable

• ACA/ACCA qualification with solid post-qualification audit experience in practice.
• Proven track record running audit assignments and reviewing others’ work.
• Comfort owning client relationships and a portfolio, not just files.
• Aspire to develop a team and grow within the practice.

Responsibilities

• Managing audit assignments end to end — planning, fieldwork oversight, review and final sweep.
• Owning audit quality and risk across your portfolio.
• Reviewing the work of seniors and developing the audit team below you.
• Managing WIP and portfolio billing, and contributing to fee targets.
• Working directly with the partners on client relationships and delivery.
• Playing a part in new business — networking, referrals and Chamber events.
• Keeping the team’s technical standards high and supporting CPD.
