Job summary

The People Group in Dublin is seeking an experienced Audit Director to join its expanding Audit & Assurance practice. This role suits an established Director or a Senior Audit Manager ready to move into a leadership position.

You will lead a portfolio of audit engagements, manage client relationships, and provide technical guidance on auditing and financial reporting standards, including IFRS and FRS 102. Flexible working arrangements and a strong salary package are on offer.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is required.
• Extensive audit experience in a professional practice environment.
• Experience at Senior Manager or Director level is essential.
• Strong knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards, including IFRS and FRS 102.
• Excellent leadership, communication and client management skills.
• Commercially focused with ability to develop client relationships.
• Experience across a broad range of industry sectors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of audit and assurance assignments.
• Manage client relationships and act as trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
• Plan, review and deliver audit engagements to the highest standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop high-performing audit teams.
• Provide technical guidance on audit and financial reporting matters.
• Support business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive operational and commercial success.
