Job summary

Darwin Hawkins is recruiting for an experienced audit professional at Director level to join a leading Dublin-based Audit practice. You will work closely with an Audit Partner, taking a senior role across a portfolio of large corporate and multinational clients in a hybrid setup.

The role involves leading the delivery of complex engagements, managing senior stakeholders, and developing client relationships while contributing to business development and practice growth within Corporate Audit.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant external audit experience
• Audit Director or experienced Senior Manager within a large accountancy firm
• Strong experience auditing large corporate and multinational clients
• Experience managing complex and group audit engagements
• Strong client management skills with experience dealing with senior stakeholders
• Business development experience would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Client Leadership – Manage and develop senior relationships across a portfolio of large corporate and multinational clients
• Audit Delivery – Lead the delivery of complex audit engagements across the Corporate Audit portfolio
• Group Audits – Take responsibility for large and complex group audit engagements
• Senior Stakeholders – Work closely with senior finance leadership and key decision-makers across client organisations
• Team Leadership – Lead, mentor and develop audit teams across multiple engagements
• Business Development – Contribute to winning new engagements and developing opportunities with existing clients
• Practice Growth – Work alongside Partners and senior leadership to support the continued development of the Corporate Audit practice
• Leadership – Play an active role in the wider leadership and strategic development of the Audit team
