Job description

Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team. The Successful Audit and Accounts Senior will be joining a 3 partner firm based in Meath and over 30 years in business. This role offers the successful Audit and Accounts Senior the opportunity to work with an impressive database of clients from a number of industries.

Responsibilities:

• Operational supervision of assignments with a specific focus on audit, resourced from a combined pool of staff to achieve client satisfaction combined with targeted operational deliverables.
• Management of the firm’s relationship with clients including service delivery and co-ordination of service offerings from other departments.
• Involvement in training of student trainees.
• Preparation and presentation of reports to clients and partners on request.
• Preparation and completion of audit/audit exempt financial statements.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year PQE.
• Currently working as a senior in a practice environment.
• Experience of operational supervision of assignments and managing client relationships.
• Some tax experience desirable.
• Thorough understanding of risk, Irish GAAP, FRS102, and awareness of current issues.
• Proficiency in audit strategies, Terms of Engagement, FRS102, Irish and UK GAAP, and CA2014.
• Capability to work with diverse clients across multiple sectors.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary range: €55,000 – €65,000.
