Job summary

BOC Limited, a Linde company, is seeking an on-site Leixlip ASU Operations Lead to ensure safe, efficient plant performance. You will manage and develop the ASU engineers, maintain stock to meet customer demands and oversee on-site maintenance in line with legislation and company standards.

You''ll work with the ROC for training and diagnostics, report monthly KPIs, provide emergency call-out cover, and coordinate with Product Supply Management on scheduling while managing the plant budget.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or time served apprentice.
• Highly numerate with a strong technical background.
• High degree of self-motivation, flexibility and commitment.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage projects effectively.
• Knowledge of process control, refrigeration and cooling water systems.
• A high level of personal integrity, excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the Leixlip ASU plant is operating safely and efficiently is part of this role.
• You will manage and develop the ASU Engineers
• Maintaining Liquid stocks to meet customer demands is required
• Ensuring that plant maintenance is kept up to date as per local legislation and company standards
• Further ensuring that the On-site Operations complies with SHEQ requirements is desired
• You will also ensure that workplace inspections are done and kept up to date
• Working closely with the ROC (Remote Operating Centre) for training and diagnosing problems is required
• Reporting on a monthly basis on plant KPI’s
• In addition you will provide call-in emergency cover for ASU production when required
• Liaising with the PSM (Product Supply Management) on scheduling
• Manage the plant budget
