Job summary
AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate Engineer to join the Transportation team based in Dublin or Dundalk, Ireland. You will lead planning and design for road, rail and active travel schemes and contribute to statutory processes and procurement.
You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, develop tender proposals, and manage contracts, with a strong focus on delivering value and quality while supporting business growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in consultancy environments.
- Degree in engineering (Level 8/9).
- Chartered Engineer status desirable.
- Strong knowledge of design standards and practical buildable designs.
- Experience in planning and design of transportation schemes in Ireland.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams.
- Ability to grow a team and win new commissions.
- Experience in tender/proposal development and bids.
Responsibilities
- Manage planning and design of road, rail, public transport and active travel projects.
- Contribute to statutory processes (EIAR, CPO etc) and procurement processes.
- Prepare contract documents and administer contracts.
- Supervise construction and manage commercial aspects of projects.
