GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction is seeking an experienced M&E cost professional to join as Associate, taking ownership of a large data centre and controlled environments portfolio across Europe. You will work client-side, guiding cost planning, procurement and post-contract cost management with senior leadership support.
The role offers clear progression towards Associate Director, exposure to high-spec facilities, cross-disciplinary collaboration with QS, PM and design
Our client is an established international cost and project management consultancy, delivering client-side advisory services across a broad range of sectors. With a strong presence in Ireland and an international network behind them, they support clients on significant developments from early feasibility through to completion.
The business is known for independent advice, technical depth and long-term client relationships. Its specialist capability in data centres and controlled environments has become a key area of growth, with clients relying on its teams to bring commercial clarity to highly services-intensive projects.
With a large and expanding portfolio of data centre and controlled environment work across Europe, they are strengthening their specialist M&E cost management capability. This has created an opportunity for an experienced M&E cost professional to step into an Associate role and take ownership of a significant portfolio.
You will join a specialist team within a collaborative, professional consultancy environment, working closely with quantity surveyors, project managers and design teams. The culture values technical expertise and gives senior team members the autonomy to lead their portfolios while being supported by experienced leadership.
The portfolio covers data centres and controlled environments, including life sciences and high-specification facilities, across multiple European locations. These projects are heavily services-led, with mechanical and electrical systems making up a substantial share of project value, placing specialist M&E cost advice at the centre of client decision-making.
Working client-side, you will be involved from early-stage cost planning and procurement through to post-contract cost management and final accounts. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing clear insight into complex M&E cost drivers and protecting their commercial interests throughout delivery.
For candidates coming from a contractor background, this is an excellent opportunity to move client-side, applying hands-on commercial knowledge in an advisory role with greater strategic influence and broader project exposure.
This position offers a salary of up to €120,000, reflecting the specialist nature and seniority of the role. More importantly, it provides a long-term platform within an established international consultancy, with responsibility for a significant European portfolio, direct client-side exposure and clear pathways for progression towards Associate Director level and beyond.
