Job summary

Barden | B Corp is seeking a senior finance leader to act as the No. 2 to the Senior Director of Finance in Cork.

You will lead a best-in-class finance team, oversee period-end close, and provide strategic input to support business decisions within the Cork unit. You will partner with Operations, Tax, FP&A, and Treasury to drive improvements, strengthen controls, and manage external stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Big 4 trained and ACA or equivalent.
• Extensive accounting experience in a global organisation.
• Strong technical knowledge and control experience, ideally in a SOX environment.
• Confident, organised leader who partners well across Finance and the business.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Act as the accounting and reporting leader for the business unit, overseeing period-end close activities and reviewing financial performance.
• Partner with Operations, Tax, FP&A, Treasury, and other teams, supporting decision-making and driving operational improvements.
• Apply deep technical knowledge to complex areas of the business where interpretation and judgement are required.
• Identify and assess areas of financial and operational risk, reviewing mitigating controls.
• Lead process improvement initiatives across the close and reporting cycle.
• Strengthen financial controls and governance across the business unit.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders.
