KPMG Ireland is seeking an ambitious Turnaround & Restructuring Associate Director/Manager to lead MVL and corporate simplification engagements for diverse clients from Belfast. You will manage multi‑entity and cross‑border projects, coordinating with directors, tax advisors and solicitors to ensure high‑quality, compliant outcomes.

The role emphasizes client delivery, project management, and business development within a collaborative team environment across Belfast, Dublin, Cork and Galway.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in restructuring, insolvency, audit or another professional services environment.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines and stakeholders.
• Experience managing structured, process-driven engagements at scale.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Members' Voluntary Liquidation (MVL) appointments and corporate simplification projects.
• Manage solvent wind-down engagements from planning through to dissolution, coordinating with directors, tax advisors and solicitors.
• Support business development initiatives and growth of the Corporate Simplification practice.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor milestones, budgets and WIP.
• Coach, mentor and develop associates within the team; review work and provide feedback.
