Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is helping a highly successful retail operation in Co. Clare recruit an Assistant Store Manager. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer engagement and strong retail operations while supporting commercial performance and a motivated store team.

You will participate in daily store activities, drive sales, train staff on new products, analyse performance, and manage stock. Compliance with H&S & HACCP is essential, with the Store Manager supported in planning.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualified in a relevant discipline.
• 3+ years’ relevant retail experience.
• Proven ability to motivate staff.
• Strong communication skills & ability to engage with people at all levels.
• Strong understanding of IT, stock control & inventory management systems.
• Flexibility to work on a balanced & fair rota across varying shifts as required for business operational needs.

Responsibilities

• As a key part of the store management group, you will deliver exceptional standards across customer engagement & retail operations and support commercial performance.
• You will motivate the store-based team and participate in daily operations to deliver a best in class customer experience.
• You will drive sales across product lines, train on new products & services, analyse performance and manage stock levels.

Clare are now, due to a significant increase in business levels, looking to expand their operations management team & have engaged with us in Cpl to hire an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their energetic and enthusiastic team.

The Job:

As a key part of the store management group, you will primarily be responsible for delivering exceptional standards across customer engagement & the retail operations as well as supporting commercial performance & motivating the store based team.

More specifically you will take an active part in the daily operations of the store, deliver a best in class customer experience, drive sales across various product lines, conduct training on new products & services being introduced, analyse performance, manage stock levels, assist on staff queries, ensure compliance with industry & regulatory standards (including H&S & HACCP) & support the Store Manager in their ongoing business planning.

Your Skills & Experience that we need:

The Offer:

The role is a permanent position with base salary depending on experience/qualifications but expected to range between 37-42k.

• There will be additional benefits & annual performance based bonus.
