Job summary

Talent-Curve is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a 140-unit residential development in Wexford Town. The role involves supporting the Site Manager, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works progress in line with the programme.

You will monitor quality, safety, and progress, assist with inspections and handover, and bring strong understanding of residential construction and site operations. Salary is €Competitive DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar on residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of site operations and construction sequencing.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day management and coordination of site activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers to ensure works progress in line with the programme.
• Monitor quality, workmanship and construction progress, addressing issues as they arise.
• Assist with site logistics, materials, plant and resource planning.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety requirements, drawings and specifications.
• Assist with inspections, snagging, reporting and the successful handover of completed units.

Job Title: Assistant Site Manager Location: Wexford Town Salary: €Competitive DOE Our client, a growing Irish Developer, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager for a 140 Unit residential development in Wexford Town. This is a dynamic new housing development which is being constructed using ICF. The contractor has a number of developments in and around the Wexford and Carlow areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Site Manager with the day-to‑day management and coordination of site activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers to ensure works progress in line with the programme.
• Monitor quality, workmanship and construction progress, addressing issues as they arise.
• Assist with site logistics, materials, plant and resource planning.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety requirements, drawings and specifications.
• Assist with inspections, snagging, reporting and the successful handover of completed units.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Senior Foreman on residential projects.
• Strong understanding of residential construction and site operations.
• Good knowledge of health & safety, quality control and construction sequencing.
• Relevant construction qualification or trade background would be advantageous.
