Mount Juliet Estate in Thomastown, Ireland, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, invites you to join The Hound Restaurant as Assistant Restaurant Manager. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, this leadership role guides the front‑of‑house team to deliver flawless service and memorable dining experiences.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef and wider Food & Beverage colleagues, shape service standards, manage daily operations, and mentor staff to uphold Mount Juliet Estate’s

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant/hospitality setting.
• Strong passion for guest experiences and service excellence.
• Knowledge of restaurant service standards and SOPs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Restaurant Manager in daily operation of The Hound Restaurant.
• Lead restaurant team during service and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor and model service standards.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Team for front/back of house alignment.
• Assist with staffing, rostering and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and licensing requirements.
