Job summary

The Pennyhill Lucan, part of Louis Fitzgerald Group, is seeking an Experienced Assistant Manager to join a busy hospitality team. You will support the General Manager, lead daily service, and ensure high standards of guest care and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a supervisory or management role in Irish hospitality, strong leadership, hands-on approach, and excellent communication. Evening and weekend flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the Irish hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a busy service environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy trading periods.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in the daily operation of a high-volume city centre pub
• Ensure consistently high standards of customer service are delivered at all times
• Assist with staff training, development and performance management while creating a positive team culture
• Ensure all health, safety, hygiene and licensing regulations are fully adhered to
• Support the delivery of sales targets, cost controls and overall business performance
