Job summary

The Montenotte Hotel in Cork City invites applications for a Personal Trainer. The role requires 2-3 years’ experience in a hotel or gym, a passion for fitness, and the ability to deliver high standards of guest care within Motion Leisure Centre.

Excellent presentation and fluent English are essential. You will lead fitness classes, support the management team, maximise guest satisfaction, and work flexible morning/evening/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years’ experience within either a hotel or gym environment.
• Ability to maintain consistently high standards of service in Motion Leisure Centre.
• Strong customer and associate relation skills.
• Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.
• Strong organisation & leadership skills.
• Flexible - this role involves morning/evening/weekend/weekday work.
• Candidate must have fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Management team to lead by example and deliver an extraordinary guest experience.
• To assist with delivering fitness classes
• To ensure the team deliver at all times the highest quality of service and advice to the guests and members.
• Exceed the expectations of all guests within the hotel and to do so in a pleasant and efficient manner in accordance with the established standards in the hotel.
• To adhere to all Health & Safety, Hygiene and Cashiering Procedures.
• To maximise sales and revenue in Motion Leisure Centre at all times.
• To handle customer queries and complaints in a professional, efficient manner.
• Motivate, lead and engage your team at all times and especially in the absence of the leisure centre manager.
