The Rehab Group is seeking an Assistant Instructor for the Rehabilitative Training Programme in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. The role involves delivering tailored training for learners with varying needs including ID, ASD, and other challenges, under a person-centred approach in a supportive environment.
The post is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, full-time (36 hours per week), with opportunities for progression within a structured salary scale and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Rehabilitative Training Programme aims to equip the learner with skills to develop personally, socially and vocationally in making future choices and progress to greater levels of independence and integration. The Assistant Instructor will work with the RehabilitativeTraining Programme which requires experience of working with people of varying needs and abilities - I.D., ASD, autism, physical and sensory difficulties, behavioural difficulties, mentalhealth difficulties.

Salary starting from point 1 €27,641.52 to point 5 €31,721.41. The 9-point salary scale provides annual progression opportunities up to €36,186.19.
These duties and responsibilities are a reflection of the present service requirements and may be subject to review and amendment to meet the changing needs of the services.
