Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I in Ireland is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a fast-paced team and drive guest experience, quality, and speed. You will support the GM, manage costs, and develop leadership across restaurant operations.

The role demands proven GM experience in a branded, high-volume setting, a track record of achieving sales targets, and strong people leadership to build future leaders within Popeyes University-backed development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems.
• Strong people leadership and developing future leaders.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes' outstanding food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support your GM in building a winning plan and smashing performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Be the role model—set the tone, keep standards high, and inspire your team.
• Create a warm, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
• Recruit, develop and retain top talent—you’ll know how to build a dream team+ pipeline future talent.
• Bring the Fun and keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture poppin'.
• Take the reins when your GM is away + stay hungry for personal development-this is your stepping stone to future leadership.
