Job summary

Hilton Dublin in Charlemont Place, Dublin 2 is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join the team. The role involves managing the day-to-day Finance office, including payroll, financial analysis and reporting, audits and control programs.

Responsibilities include monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliation, accurate reporting, payroll processing, cash handling, debtor collection, and accounts payable oversight.

Salary = €40,000 - €42,000 per annum

Main Purpose of the Job:

The Assistant Financial Controller manages the day-to-day operation of the Finance office. Primary responsibilities include Payroll, financial analysis and financial reporting, audit and control programs, asset & liability reconciliation and assisting Director of Finance with other duties as may be required.

What will I be doing?

• To assist in preparation monthly management accounts in an accurate and timely manner.
• To reconcile the balance sheet and ensure account balances are supported by appropriate documentation.
• To ensure that relevant financial reports presented are accurate and on time.
• Ensure monitoring and control of all sales revenue streams is carried out and integrity of all POS systems is maintained.
• To ensure Hotel payroll is processed in timely manner and all employees are paid correctly.
• To assist accounting staff in all facets of their day-to-day operations, to resolve queries where possible in a timely manner.
• To be responsible/accountable for all cash i.e. floats; cash transit procedures, safe/procedures, float spot checks etc.
• Oversee the collection and control of debtor accounts and to be the guardian of hotel credit policy, monitoring its implementation consistently.
• To oversee accounts payable ensuring vendor accounts are reconciled and suppliers paid in timely manner.
